We use only the finest quality organically produced fresh valerian root.

The specification we use is the same as that required by many professional herbalists. The tincture strength is high 1ml is the equivalent of 333mg of echinacea root. We use alcohol as this is the most efficient method to gain the synergistic benefits of the whole herb.

Dosage levels are very small 2ml to 5ml for adults (20 to 50 drops)

Some people prefer to take our tinctures in fruit juice or other flavoured drinks

Tincture manufactured and bottled in the UK to GMP approved standards. 

Contains 45% v/v organically produced pure grain alcohol

Contraindications:

Not recommended during pregnancy or breast feeding. Can make some people feel nervous, anxious and experience palpitations. If it has been taken for a long time it can cause withdrawal symptoms if stopped abruptly. Not recommended for those taking barbiturates or benzodiazepine medication
